New London Members lounge

From June 2025, Explorers Club members will have access to a dedicated membership lounge at 1 Kensington Gore, with views of Hyde Park. The facilities are based at the Royal Geographic Society, and are equipped with media production facilities, event space and lounge.

Our monthly events will provide our membership with a platform to discuss their work in the field and the advancement of scientific research. We emphasise that it is important for membership to foster the community and support the growth of the membership through outreach and mentorship.

The first event is is on the 22nd of May 2025, hosted by Great Britain and Ireland chapter fellow Levison Wood and guest panelists including Bruce Parry, Lucy Shepherd, Lord Zac Goldsmith and New Explorer medalist Dr Rosa Vasquez Espinoza. The Event will focus on the importance of forestry conservation and the environmental importance of trees.
